VILLA CRINE

In the heart of the Valpolicella region in the town of Pedemonte lies the historic Italian villa which dates from 1700. It lies in a hollow dug into the hill, Colle Masua, and its walls tell the story of a family, which from father to son, has passed down the historic methods which for centuries have been used in the art of making wine.
Today, Giovanni Battista Venturini, who goes by his maternal grandfather’s name ‘Battista’, has very successfully relaunched the brand and the wines ‘Villa Crine’. He faced a considerable number of challenges but with the help of his wife Mara and through twenty years of sacrifices, he has seen his business expand so that now his wines are enjoyed in Europe and around the world. Battista is also supported by his children. His son Giuseppe graduated with a degree in enology and Diletta, his daughter, is a university student.

Villa Crine is entirely family run and jealously preserves the values and the techniques acquired from past tradition, while integrating and harmonizing those with the continuous innovations in the field of enology and winemaking.

Great attention is given to the creation of a quality product. In order to achieve this, careful diligence is paid to every detail; to the varied meteorological conditions, the ripening times and drying times of the grape, the fermentation of the wine and the development of the wine as it ages. Each of these processes is carried out personally giving the necessary time to each step.
